Today is the first “real” day back to college, the spring ’06 semester, which should be my last but won’t be because I poorly managed a transfer from another college. [side note: girl next to me in lab is swinging around in her chair…I’m trying not to laugh but smirks are making their way through…ha, silly momo] I’ll probably be here for at least another semester and possibly a 6 week session after that depending on how well things fall into place. I don’t mind graduating after some friends but I do mind having to wait longer before I can start working…I don’t even know where I want to work or what kind of work I’d like to do. The generic, easy answer, I’ve been giving people is “computers.”<\/p>\n

After taking a ~6week leave from Manhattan I was craving some good food; I ate lunch at an Italian place (E.19th & 2nd) and was surprised at just how good it was. As I sat there, in a mostly empty restaurant (I’m guessing they get a lot more traffic for dinner) I looked out the window at the passersby and began to think of how badly I’d like to live in Manhattan, even if for a short period of time.<\/p>\n

Anyway it’s almost time for Spanish2, I almost went home earlier since it is the first day of class and I could’ve gotten away with it but I didn’t. I should have…damn, school is boring.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
