So, I decided to throw a BBQ on wed. and invited a few people from back in the day. Started the whole deal at around 12 (fire, bringing stuff to the backyard, etc.) and the first group of people came around 3 aside from ono who came in early to help setup stuff. By that time the first batch of charcoal had died out so I started up another round…man setting up the charcoal and getting it going is such a pain in the ass– no wonder people buy gas grills. It wasn’t the most exciting atmosphere but things picked up after a Randell n’ his girl left– too bad ono had to goto work too. Did I mention that I don’t think that randell or his girl ate one thing? If I recall correctly, I think he said they grabbed a bite before they came… …<\/p>\n

We wen’t to Erik’s place afterwards and got some (texas holdem) poker going– Turned out to be a pretty fun night over there even though he won the greater portion of the pot. At least I managed to [help] knock out two people from the table first.
