bimbo n. (bmb)
Slang. A woman regarded as vacuous or as having an exaggerated interest in her sexual appeal. [Dictionary.com]
Im not thrilled about using the term bimbo but it fits so well. I’m no Einstein myself, Cin&Vin would gladly tell you I’m not always the sharpest knife in the drawer but…I don’t know, you decide. (No Fox News pun intended)
After class a couple days ago I was waiting to get on the uptown 6 train at 23rd street. As I tried to get on three beautiful women scurried off the train, then ran back. It happens, I thought to myself, knowing how many times Ive awakened from a half-asleep state and rushed out of a train thinking it was my stop when it wasnt. This, however, wasnt the case. After they got back on and we made it to 28th street they started to panic again at which point a man sitting next to them asked where they were trying to go.
Momo1: I dunno
Momo2: Umm, whats that place? Penn something?
[Momo3 skims over a paper]
Momo3: We need to go downtown to Grand Central station.
Man1: Oh, OK. Youre fine. You need to keep going uptown on this train.
Momo2: Are you, umm, sure, cuz it says we need to go downtown?
Momo1: Maybe theres more than one Grand Central stupid.
Momo2: Shut up!
Momo1: Excuse me, is there more than one
Woman1: No, you ladies are fine, theres only one and youre on the right train.
Momo3: Thats so stupid, these directions told us we need to go downtown.
Momo1: Yeah, like whats up with that?
Man2: It depends on where you start. If you were north of Grand Central you would have to go downtown but if you were south of it you need to go uptown.
[Momo1/2/3 stare vacantly at Man2 as we approach Grand Central]
Women1: This is your stop ladies.
[Momo1/2/3 begin to walk off the train]
Momo2: [Whispers, loudly] This is probably the wrong Grand Central.
[Momo1 nods in agreement]
