26th Hour

11:30 pm: Budhiono comes over and we make our way to the gym.
11:45 pm: Juan meets us at the gym.
1:00 am: The three of us return to my house for some protein shakes. We decide to go out for a drive.
1:30 am: After swapping cars out from the garage, I get in the Malibu, only to be pulled over by undercover cops.
1:32 am: License/Registration/Insurance…Who’s car is this? Where are you coming from/Where are you going?!
1:33 am: Here you go, officer, it’s my brothers who left it for the weekend. We’re going to get some White Castle.
1:35 am: Undercovers leave after searching the car from the outside with flashlights.
1:37 am: We proceed to Queens Blvd. in search of food
1:45 am: Waiting at a traffic light. Black SUV comes from behind and drives right through the red.
1:46 am: Perfect opportunity to express my disbelief with the newly installed air horn.
1:49 am: Meet up (actually directly behind) Black SUV in the middle lane at another traffic light.
1:49 am: Notice a truck (the ones that pull 18 wheelers. This one didn’t have a trailer attached) approaching in the right lane.
1:49 am: Realize the truck is coming up at around 50mph on a local street. We wonder what’s up.
1:50 am: Truck flies by us, and pulls over in front of the Black SUV blocking all three lanes of the street.
1:50 am: Black SUV takes off, once again at a red light, to “escape” truck driver
1:51 am: Truck chases after SUV for 5 blocks @ ~55mph on Queens Blvd, and follows it when it turns too.
1:52 am: We continue to follow them and observe
1:53 am: Black SUV quickly pulls into a driveway after making the turn. The Truck drives on forward.
1:54 am: After the SUV makes a u-turn, so do we to get back onto Queens Blvd.
1:55 am: We drive back on Queens Blvd and stop at a red light. Notice two hookers being arrested by undercovers.
1:56 am: Budhiono and Juan stick their head out of the windows for a better view of what’s going on.
1:59 am: Malibu loses in a race against a guy on a bike but beats a corolla. I once again emote through the air horn.
