Strike!

Strike, you lazy bastards, STRIKE!!!

I’m sure you can recall at least one movie/show where a kid prays for a snow day to get extra time to finish up a paper or to study more for a final—Same thing here except instead of snow I’m hoping that union-transit workers engage in an illegal strike for at least two or more days starting Tuesday.

Dear Student:

In the event that the Transit Workers Union extends its job action to include MTA buses and trains, changes to the College’s final examination schedule may be found by consulting the Baruch College website at www.baruch.cuny.edu.

If a City-wide strike takes place tomorrow, Wednesday, or Thursday, and lasts only one day, final examinations for the affected day will be rescheduled for Friday, December 23. In the event of a work stoppage lasting more than one day, exams will be postponed until January, as indicated on the website. Please consult the link “Information for Students” for further information about a revised final examination schedule.

Regardless of strike conditions, the College will remain open and operational.
