I finally managed to get myself sleepy after a couple hours of crappy TV shows on the 13″ downstairs so I came up to my room and started to fall asleep when the birds just went nuts! Flying around in their cage, hissing, screaming… So of course I got up and turned on the lights to see what was going on and one was hanging upside down from the roof of the cage and the other was on the lowest perch looking up at the other one (both pied-cockatiels).
After ten minutes of consoling and petting, and giving treats they finally seem calm and appear to be getting sleepy again. Damnit, I thought they were going to sleep but now they’re getting something to eat which means I can’t turn off the lights which means I won’t be going to sleep for another fifteen minutes! Ahhhhhhh!
