BBQ

So, I decided to throw a BBQ on wed. and invited a few people from back in the day. Started the whole deal at around 12 (fire, bringing stuff to the backyard, etc.) and the first group of people came around 3 aside from ono who came in early to help setup stuff. By that time the first batch of charcoal had died out so I started up another round…man setting up the charcoal and getting it going is such a pain in the ass– no wonder people buy gas grills. It wasn’t the most exciting atmosphere but things picked up after a Randell n’ his girl left– too bad ono had to goto work too. Did I mention that I don’t think that randell or his girl ate one thing? If I recall correctly, I think he said they grabbed a bite before they came… …

We wen’t to Erik’s place afterwards and got some (texas holdem) poker going– Turned out to be a pretty fun night over there even though he won the greater portion of the pot. At least I managed to [help] knock out two people from the table first. I thought it would be funny to post some of the interesting stuff that went on there but it would look pretty stupid on paper, in ink, in this blog unless you were there yourself. Sucks for you people.
