I got my motorcycle learner’s permit today from the DMV!
I managed to pass (not sure by how much) with only about 10 minutes of cramming during the drive over. The test was pretty easy since the first 60% was from the regular driving permit test. The remaining 40% consisted of motorcycle related questions like what the best way to brake suddenly is and what position in a lane, of the three, you should be in when making turns, etc. Anyway, although Im ecstatic over my minor accomplishment its only the first baby step towards getting a motorcycle. The steps that remain are; taking the 2-day course which teaches the basics of how to ride (in a class room and then actually on a bike) which eventually concludes with the person getting a full license, then finding and buying a bike (GSXR 750 = $$$$).
