The little things

I noticed something interesting earlier this week during one of my classes; in the middle of explaining something or lecturing my professor will occasionally break to seemingly agree with herself and then seamlessly pickup from where the left off. It is a bit odd but I actually think it’s kind of cute and I can’t help but smirk every time she does it. Here’s an example of what you might hear her say if you came to one our lectures: The birth rate of Mexicans in California has increased dramatically over the past 10 years…mhmm…and it’s very likely that the levels are going to continue rising…mhmm, mhmm.
