I recently ordered a new housing for my blackberry (8700c) from off of eBay. The person I ordered from clearly put in the title of the auction that it was compatible with the model I needed. After receiving it, about two weeks later, I came to realize (with my old housing already removed and damaged beyond reassembly) that the housing was not, in fact, for my phone…it was for another model.
After contacting the seller about it he said, “Oh, but I didn’t say anything in the description of the auction that said it would work with an 8700c.” Have you ever heard someone say something so unbelievably stupid that you wanted to repeatedly hit them in the face and then kick them a couple of times with the slightest hope of knocking whatever was loose in their head back into place?
The seller was fishing for keywords to attract more people to his auction. For example, if some idiot like this momo was trying to sell a phone like a Motorola Razor, he/she would also add similar style phones to the title; it would look something like: Brand New Motorola Razor Like Blackberry, Nokia. This way, even if someone searched for Nokia, this persons listing for a Motorola phone would come up since its in the title.
Anyway, after counting backwards from ten slowly, I reported him to eBay (account is being suspended pending a full review of all his auctions/listings), and I am getting a full refund for my money. I love it when assholes, like this person, who think theyre so clever and can get away with anything get put into their place.
