As much as I despise places that enthusiastically advertise themselves as “99 cent” stores, I can at least understand the concept behind the marketing. While walking around school today I came across a store titled “$10 and up!” Outside of the blunt hypocrisy where things in the display window were labeled as “$5.99 or less”, why would you want to advertise that you don’t sell anything under a certain price? Dumbasses. I’m sure some marketing expert can patch together some concept under which this scheme is supposed to attract customers but give me a break.
$10 and up!
