The difference between a 12 and 6 minute mile

Can you tell the difference between the initial video (red/green) shoes and the Mizuno Inspire 9 running shoes which I just bought? Probably not, but I’m banking that this slight addition in support is the only thing that has been holding me back from running a 6 minute mile.
