The Daily Show @ Baruch

During one of my breaks between classes I was on my way to Baruch’s library/administrative building when I noticed a large camera and then Rob Corddry (“Correspondent” from The Daily Show). I walked by, said hi and told him how much I liked the show and his bits. He thanked me and I went into the library to continue with my business; finding a comfortable lazyboy-type chair to fall asleep in. I then remembered that I had “America: The Book” which is written by The Daily Show’s John Stewart and has articles from other people from the show including Rob. So, I walked back out and they were finishing up a bit next to a hot dog stand with a bun stained with blue ink on the floor. After they finished he was walking by to throw something away in the garbage when I asked, “Hey, sorry to bother you again but I just remembered [I showed him the book—marked to a page with his picture along with one of his articles] that I had this on me…Would you mind signing?” He quickly replied yes as he took my marker (I always keep a marker handy for getting signatures…oh and for getting high too) After sufficiently wiping his hands down on his rain coat and signing he asked “So, hey– you wana get in on one of the shots?” to which I quickly replied “Sure, whatever you…” He then interrupted me mid-sentence with “I’m just kidding you jack-ass, get out of the way!” and everyone (camera man, producer?, one other person & Rob) started laughing uncontrollably…It was clear that he was joking so I joined in and after a couple minutes of laughter/coughing from laughter/holding our stomachs from laughter he confirmed that I understood that he was just kidding and they packed up the last of their things and went on their way. This is the funniest thing that has happened to me in a long time.
