Mark, Jen & Emma visited this afternoon. We had fun playing with Emma & Austen. Emma's certainly getting to be a big girl now. Although a little shy at first, she quickly became playful, especially after getting some M&Ms. She read each 'M' before she ate it and even shared her candy with everyone.

Uncle Mark introduced Austen to her bouncy chair. She seemed to enjoy it and paid careful attention to Uncle Mark's commentary.

Grandpa Earl, Great Uncle James and Great Aunt Margaret visited today. They cooked crabcakes and prepared a wonderful meal for all.
Grandpa Earl showed off his hidden talent for soothing babies.

We returned home from the hospital on Monday in the late afternoon to find a gathering of Uncles, Aunts and Cousins patiently waiting on our front stoop. What a warm welcome!

Grandpa, Grandma and Uncle Rin visited us at St. Peters on Saturday. That was a nice visit; it provided a good energy & support boost.

As Uncle Tod posted, Austen was born on September 10th, 2005 at 6:15 AM, weighing in at 7 lb 3 oz and 20 inches in length. Mommy and baby girl are doing great.
