SquirtCup's first post!

So, it seems my previous owner couldn't handle me and I was 'rescued' (Oct 2003) by these 2 so-called animal lovers … we'll see.

Yeah, I spent half the night scratching at the closet door in the bedroom, but you have to remember how much fun I had that time I got trapped in there all afternoon -- while Lu and Dav were showing Jen, Mark and Emma around the city. I want back in! Return me to my glorious prison where I can frolic in the shoes and flay neat piles of clothing.

As for jumping on top of the computer and getting sprayed with water all the time, can't a little fuzz have some fun? I just knock over a couple DVDs, some picture frames, sunglasses, pocketbooks, pens and paper. The toilet tissue streaming down the hallway looks nice … in my opinion.

So, you've heard about the "Power Burst." I'll let you in on a secret: Power Burst is an understatement. Once in a while I go for broke and flail around like I'm fighting for my life -- no one can console me. Sure, I'm not really in danger, someone's just trying to pet me, but I like the drama. Fear the Power Burst!

The long-haired Sikh who stops by once in a while, he's gotta learn who's boss. Nietzsche may be king of the hill -- scary as a lion when she is in one of her moods -- but I'm second-in-command here, and that interloper from Queens has got another thing coming. If he so much as looks at me the wrong way, I'm gonna whap him!

(By the way, Scout is a pushover. It took me all of five minutes to figure out there's nothing behind her hisses but a chirping ball of fuzz. And when they tell you I cause the hissing by pouncing on her, I have to ask, "Wouldn't you do the same?")

Well, I may have just hit the one year mark (August 7th 2003) but I plan to stay a kitten for life. I will be biting and kicking 'til my dying day. The crazy calico rules!

That's not to say I can't be a cuddly pussy cat when I want to. At night I sleep on top of Dav and let Lu rub me all over -- I especially like that chin scratching.
